You've probably heard of writer's block, haven't you? That little thing inside you that just flushes away all of your writing ideas and creative strategies. I never have that problem. Never ever ever. But I do have a serious problem called "life lacking." Since when has Chicken Town been so boring? I can't find hardly anything interesting to write about these days. Except that weird creature that they call a "goat." It runs around, knocking over our food trays and trying to jump over the gate. The big person running around all the time hits it with a stick. The goat does not like that.
Sorry if feed is low and the deets I'm giving you are super boring, but nothing interesting is happening in Chicken Town lately. Maybe that will change. Maybe, out of nowhere, we will see a comet falling out of the sky and land on the hotel. Fake laugh.
Maybe it's just me. But, anyway, I have a feeling that things are going to get bigger anytime now. I'll be back in twenty-four hours. Emma out!

Welcome Summer Vacation!
Hello again, readers! I'm sorry I haven't been writing on here for a while, but I had other things to focus on. I want to welcome late spring and summer vacation! All of us here in Chicken Town are getting out next week. We already finished arithmetic (yay!)so school is going to be over sooner. I am planning on having a sprinkler party since we're counting on hot weather. I got a new swimsuit last Sunday. I'm in love with all of the green. Green below me, green on the trees, green bushes and green gardens too! This summer is going to be awesome! Dad still hasn't put up the pool yet, but he will. We're going to go to Young's Dairy with the church this summer. I will not let my parents not take me to the beach this summer. If they don't, I'm going to be really really sad. One of my schoolmates' summer goals is to drink 101 milkshakes in one month! That's not going to be an easy thing to do. Sylvia wants to go to the Caribbean Islands. She has a group that goes different places around America with. I'm not really going anywhere fantastic, but I still want to have the best summer vacation I've ever had. What's really out of season about us is that we still have snowflake stickers on one of our windows! Well, I wish I could keep writing, but I've got work to do (even though I don't want to do it). Emma out!
P.S. If you like, you can leave a comment about what you want to do for your summer vacation!

Mary Maggee
Hi there, readers! Today I would like to tell you about Mary Maggee. She is a strange Buckeye in my class. She loves her brother, Ulysses Maggee. She doesn't like the outdoors. Her favorite colors are black and white. She doesn't wear jeans like everybody else in school does. She doesn't like hearts, peace signs, or things like that. She doesn't like animals. She doesn't like flowers. She doesn't like anything green. She doesn't like movies or music. She doesn't mind the drums but the others are useless to her. Unlike many other Buckeye chickens, she has a white circle around her comb. Mostly old chickens have that. She doesn't wear jewelry, and never wear perfume. Not even just a spritz. She doesn't like to play. She can sit at a desk for five hours while listening to the teacher teach and teach and teach and teach. Ulysses is a fun-loving boy. He is younger than Mary. Mary doesn't hug anybody or kiss anybody or send cards or write letters. She is a lot less affectionate than Ulysses. I'd like to tell more about Boring Mary and her brother, but I've got school. Oh! I almost forgot to tell you that today is Shelby's birthday! I'll be back in twenty-four hours. Emma out!

Sheriff Golders
Hello, readers! Today I would like to tell you about the sheriff of Chicken Town, Golders. A secret about her, she eats herself and chews bones. Her only uniform is a collar. Most citizens don't trust her because she is a dog. She is originally a bird dog but the force didn't train her to catch them. She is really a boring dog and there is nothing much to say abut her. All I can say is that she's a good friend, pet, and sheriff. If there was anything else I could tell you about her, I would tell, but that's all I can think of. But she does like cats. I'd like to stay all day, but my day is full of tasks. I'll be back in 24 hours. Emma out!

Wyatt & Lilian Jones
Hello, readers! Today I would like to tell you about Wyatt and Lilian Jones. Wyatt is a science boy. He likes to make laughing gas bombs and things like that. He won the science fair last year. He is also a fan of math. When he talks to the other kids in my school, they usually just act interested. They easily get bored of his science and math lectures. He usually wears leggings instead of jeans, and he wears polka-dot shirts. His style is usually purple and green and brown. He doesn't enjoy movies about cow chickens, good moralled stories, and other fiction movies. He enjoys science movies. When it comes to clothes, books, and movies, his selections are pretty boring. Lilian, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. She is VERY picky about what she wears. She won't wear green and purple polka-dotted shirts and brown leggings. She always wears something bright to make her stand out. Like me, she hates math. She would rather be sent upstairs than do it. She likes science, but she isn't crazy over it. She tries to ignore her brother's science questions, but he keeps bugging her. One time, he was making one of his potions, and she knew he was going to give her a quiz question. While he was fixing it up, Lilian ran out the door and hid in the back yard. Wyatt came outside looking for her, and he ran upstairs and got a funky pair of glasses. He put them on, and he looked at the ground. He saw glowing footprints made by Lilian's shoes. He followed them until he found her.
On Friday nights, Lilian picks out the movie. Usually it's a movie that Wyatt won't be interested in. Well, I'd love to tell you more about these two, but I've got school. Emma out!

Tex
Hello, readers! Today I would like to tell you about Tex. He's been a cow cockerel all his life. He rides his broom horse like it's real. His real name is Darwin, but he wanted a more cow cockerel-ish name. Everybody tells him he's not in the western country, but he doesn't listen. He has pretend gunfights with pretend bandits, and rides on a pretend horse with pretend cow chickens. He sings to pretend cows at night. He pretends that his meals are dried jerky and succotash. His whole family enjoys his acts. All except one person. His sister, Amelia, is afraid that the police will arrest him for having gunfights with fake people, and maybe people will think he's gone crazy. Amelia loves him dearly, but she doesn't want him to get in trouble or have a bad reputation. Let's have a peek at Tex's appearance. He usually wears a jean shirt and a hankie around his neck, and jeans, and cow cockerel boots, and a straw cow cockerel hat. He's a big chick for his age, which is nine. He is a skinny chick, although quite strong. He has brown hair and green eyes. He has red freckles underneath his eyes too. He likes to climb trees, wrestle with his brother, William, and watch farm & cow cockerel movies. Well, I'd love to tell you about this awesome cow cockerel, but I've got school. I'll be back in twenty-four hours. Emma out!

Jimmy Pulaski
Hello, readers! Today I would like to tell you about Jimmy Pulaski. He runs the kids' bike repair station. Not only does he sell fake gas and fill up tires with air, he sells candy that he makes himself! He makes yogurt fruit strips, dried fruit, maple syrup and molasses candy, ice cream bars, and even chocolate bars! He has worked on the corner of School Street since last year. The largest amount he earned is $3.00. He sells gas for nothing and air and candy are one cent each. A repair cost a nickel, which leaves the average day being $.50. Oiling and new brakes is along with the repair section. Anyway, he isn't the richest kid in the world, but he acts cool. His business isn't twenty-four hours long, because he has school. Once school's out, he rushes to his stand and looks out for bikes. His father is a bike repairman also. Jimmy always wanted a bike, but his father didn't have the money. Him and his father are doing the best they can to raise money for a bike for three. His mother stays home and tends to the housework. Jimmy doesn't like it when people call him 'lame'. Mary Hillings likes Jimmy. She takes her bike to the repair station just so she can talk with him. Jimmy isn't your typical chick walking down the street. Everybody knows him like he's the mayor. The kids don't think of him as one of them. They think of him as the businessman. He likes to make friends. He's friends with nearly everybody. I would love to tell you more about Mr. Pulaski, but I've got school. I'll be back in twenty-four hours! Emma out!
